I've actually stayed far away from anything called ice skating, and at least on water.
But after being persuaded about how nice it really is, and that it is absolutely not dangerous if you have the right equipment and know what you are doing, I allowed myself to be persuaded to go for a trip.
I didn't regret it at all, because it was absolutely magical.
With ice spikes around the neck, extra clothes packed in bags in the rucksack in case you had to go through, and not least an experienced skating enthusiast who showed the way, it was just so much fun.
