We wanted a slightly "kind" top this day and at the same time a lot of nice views. We got tips about the mountain Prest in Aurland, and it really gave us everything we had wanted for this day 😍⛰
Here we got a truly panoramic view of the Aurlandsfjord and the trip was a total of 6.5 km round trip on a well-marked path.

From the car park in Kvammadal, a 2 km drive uphill from Stegastein, there was an organized car park and it was easy to see where the trail started.
We walked in a bit of forest before we came over the first small peak and got a panoramic view of the fjord the rest of the way.
Above the first small peak, we also saw someone who had pitched a tent and was going to sleep there. It really was a perfect tent site with a panoramic view of the sunset ☀️

At the top, an absolutely fantastic view awaited us 💚 The best view we got from Verden, which is 100 meters below the top.
We had brought the JetBoil with us so we could boil water and enjoy a good cup of cocoa. There were plenty of panoramic places to choose from on the plateau around the cairn, so we didn't really want to go down again.

I actually often say that it's one of the nicest peaks I've climbed, hihi. But this mountain goes straight into that category too 😍 So I definitely want to return here and bring a tent for the night.

Thank you so much for a fantastic trip, Christian 🥰 Patient as you are, you come with me everywhere I feel like exploring ❤️
