Completely quiet on the fjord, beautiful weather and the clock has just set so it's still an hour longer light. Then it's just a matter of getting out for a little afternoon walk.
Don't have a kayak but would like to try it? There is a kayak club both in Brandbu and at Harestua. Here you can take part in a course, and when the course has been completed and you are a member of the club, you can borrow as many kayaks as you want. And there is always someone who joins the trip if you want company too.
It is important to wear a dry suit now in the spring, or possibly a wet suit. I NEVER go on a trip without this. It is incredibly important if you were to walk around.

We launched the kayaks from the boat harbor at Lokstallen, and it was absolutely perfect when there is as little water in the fjord as now.
