Paddling is so incredibly nice to do all year round. I almost think that autumn and winter are the best times for paddling. Then there are smaller boats out and so incredibly quiet and nice on the water

We launched the kayak from a small marina just outside the center of Strømstad, and from here there is a sea of possibilities between all the islands. Today we chose to paddle around the islands towards Daftø camping and beyond.

Along the route there are countless small and large places for a rest. We went ashore and had lunch on this beach a short distance before Lagoonen camping ☕️
I'm so afraid of getting scratches in my new kayak so I carried it far up the lawn

I bought a map from the Skjærgårdsidyllen kayak dealer in Grebbestad, they have paddling maps for all the places that are good for paddling from the Norwegian border and far down.
Incredibly talented people so I recommend the trip there

Here is only a very small part of the map, so it may take some time to paddle through this, probably have to spend more than an autumn and winter

It is also possible to rent a kayak at Strømstad Spa or the Skjærgårds idyll if you do not have a kayak yourself. I sold my old kayak, but couldn't do without it, so it became a new Rebel from Skjærgårdsidyllen, which I'm so happy with

After many hours outside and tired bodies, it was time to get up, but so much fun that I'm already looking forward to the next paddling trip
It's so incredibly nice here
