With a view straight to the center of Kragerø lies this beauty of a place – Kragerø Resort.

Summer and winter you can enjoy this place.

Here you can indulge in activities, or take it easy and enjoy a stay at the SPA.

Below you will find all the activities you can enjoy here:

Kragerø Golf –
One of Norway's most distinctive 18-hole courses.
You must have VTG (the road to golf course) to play here.
Kragerø Golfpark is arranged for the use of golf carts, which can be rented in the ProShop right next to the course.
A short stone's throw away is also the Driving Range, which has a total of 26 tees.
In the area there is also a 6-hole short course where you can play both golf, football golf and frisbee golf. No prior knowledge is needed here.
In the same area, there is also a very good mini golf course, where equipment can be hired in the ProShop.

Golf café – Proshop and the golf café are located in the same building, here you can enjoy an ice cream or something to drink on the roof terrace after a good day on the golf course.

Kayak rental –
At the Kragerø Resort Beach Club, a stone's throw from the hotel itself, there are several good quality kayaks for rent.
The archipelago in Kragerø consists of 495 islets and islands, so this is a little paradise to paddle in.

Kragerø Resort Beach Club –
Here you can enjoy the summer days to the fullest, with sunbeds, dining (July), kayaking, sand volleyball and swimming. This is a separate area that has been built up by Kragerø Resort and really just has to be experienced.

SPA department-
With a fantastic view of Kragerø, you can enjoy a swim, jacuzzi and sauna. Or you can enjoy a better spa treatment.

Tennis-
There are two tennis courts in the area. Rental in Proshop.

climbing-
You can even go climbing here. Three bolted routes have been set up right next to the tennis courts, so here there are activities for everyone.

Cycling –
Bring your bike here, because here the whole family can enjoy themselves on the fun bike paths that have been built.
You can try both one of the technical singletracks, cycle over rocky cliffs, through the forest, or on wider paths.

It is also possible to rent a bicycle.

Fitness room –
A well-equipped gym where you can get a good workout.

Hiking trails –
The hiking trails start right outside the hotel.
The coastal path also runs down by the ferry dock, so here you can walk as far as you want.

Restaurant-
The hotel has two restaurants with a magnificent view: Sølvodden Mat and Bar where you can enjoy simple dishes from Italian and American cuisine. Here you can also get takeaway.
Restaurant Stråholmen serves breakfast and dinner (ask the reception what today's dinner is).
There is fantastically good food in both places, and you always meet incredibly friendly and service-oriented staff.

Shop-
In July there is an open Rema 1000 shop at the ferry quay, otherwise it might be a good idea to bring what you need of food for a short stay as it is some distance to the nearest shop.

At the reception you will find the Handleriet, here they have small items such as drinks and sweets, as well as distinctive products from near and far.

Kragerø center –
A short steep walk away from the hotel, the boat goes into the center of Kragerø, a little gem that is definitely worth a visit. Here, there is a densely built wooden housing development with narrow streets filled with niche shops and galleries.
Along the edge of the wharf are rows of cozy eateries.
Or you can sit and enjoy an ice cream on the quay's edge in the summer.

From Stabbestad you can also take the ferry to Jomfruland, a natural gem with wonderful beaches at the far end of the beautiful Kragerøskjärgården.

Gooood trip and nyyyyt stay here if you should decide to go here. I also want to set up well-being weekends/training weekends here, so stay tuned for future posts if you could imagine this 🙂
