I didn't think that Hjulius had to have connected the power before I went away for a few days, so that the living room battery wouldn't run out of power.

But first a short trip up the Sherpa stairs to Fjellstua (421 m), where a fantastic view of Tromsø met us.
And the funniest thing about this trip was that the Sherpa stairs had been turned into an insanely nice toboggan run.
So at the top it was just a matter of finding a garbage bag and sledding back down. So much fun!! Coolest toboggan run with the best view.

I couldn't be in Tromsø without taking a trip to Sommarøy to try the kayak. Of course, summit trips are a must in the Tromsø area as well, but on the trip up there will be kayaking and on the return trip the skis and mountains in the area will be tested.

But even though Sommarøy was absolutely magical, the eagerness to get to Nordkapp was great, so then it was just a matter of packing up again and traveling further north.
I had heard about the ice hotel Sorrisniva in Alta, so I really wanted to stop by on the way to the Nordkapp.
What an edifice! It is absolutely incredible that all this is built up with a different theme every year.

We were incredibly lucky with the weather and that all mountain passes were open, so then it was just a matter of heading straight for Nordkapp.
We arrived in Honningsvåg late in the evening and found a gas station where we borrowed some electricity from a socket on the wall outside. Incredibly delicious with a bit of electricity now and then, I must admit.

Otherwise, there are so many wonderful places to park both with and without electricity, such as here at Artic-Lyngen Sjøcamp. An incredibly cozy place with a dream of nature right outside, so I will definitely visit here on my way back.

Men først Nordkapp 🤩
